There are three phases of interaction between Lemon Capital, entrepreneurs and their companies. First is the Consulting Phase, when we first meet the company looking to raise finance and get to grips with their business. Sometimes it could be through an engagement with our sister company Lemon Consulting. At this point, we evaluate a company to determine whether it fits our investment preferences and warrants an in-depth assessment for investment brokerage by us.
The company then enters the second phase of our interaction – Broker Finance - extensive due diligence and business plan management. This phase, when successfully concluded, ends with funding of the company. The third phase of our interaction is called Turnaround or Completion. Where we finalise the handover to our investor.

Our initial investigation to determine whether a company fits our investment preferences will be swift. Lemon Capital investment professionals will actively help entrepreneurs strengthen business plans and establish a market position for the company that will serve as a foundation for scalable growth. We'll work in detail with companies to shape the scope and articulation of their presentations for maximum private equity capital interest.

During the fund raising stage we will conduct some due diligence by working with our clients and seeking out the information to help validate the valuation of their business. We will check the backgrounds of the management team and the company to make sure that they are worthy of investment. Dont be worried about this, its in the interest of the private equity company aswell as our client to make sure their are no pitfalls along the way.

Once we are satisfied with our clients ability to raise finance we will start the process of looking for the investment through our high profile partners and typically one private equity partner will be chosen. When investment occurs we will continually be onside to make sure that all parties are satisfied with the process and that the company continues to be successful. At this point we open our clients to some of the groups resources to help in areas such as information technology, sales and marketing. We are in this for the long haul... |
